Attended cremation

What we include for Cremation Services:

  • Cremation Arrangements
  • Urns
  • Internment
  • Burial of Remains

Whether you choose a cremation for personal or religious reasons it can be done in various ways to include your own wishes and that of a loved-one. Mosaic Funerals strive to deliver the most respectful, professional and innovative service to people of any religion, culture or tradition.

At an attended cremation, we would typically bring your loved one in a casket to the church, chapel or venue. The casket will be present during the ceremony or memorial service. Depending on the church, chapel or venue the family can request that the casket be opened before, during or after the memorial service for the last viewing of the loved one to take place. After the ceremony, we will take the deceased, in the chosen casket, to the crematorium. This could be immediately or as per an arrangement at a given date or time.   After the cremation takes place the remains of the loved one will be handed to the family in an ash box or urn.

Utmost care is taken during the cremation process with stringent legislation in place to ensure that the family will only get the remains of their loved one.

Mosaic Funerals East Rand strives to deliver the most respectful, professional and innovative service to people of any religion, culture or tradition.
